PERSECUTION
It is not always easy to be a follower of Jesus Christ in India today. In some places, Churches have been burnt down; pastors and evangelists have been attacked and beaten up; in extreme cases, some have even lost their lives for the sake of Christ. Jesus said, “In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” We want to encourage Christians in the West to pray for those who face persecution, and to encourage those who suffer in India to remain strong in the Lord.
